I have skype and yahoo messenger connection working properly but web pages dont open, What can i do about it?
Most probably your issue is related to the DNS servers.
Please go to the Start Menu -> Control Panel -> Network Connections (in classic view) -> right click on the Local Area Connection (if you are using cable connection to the modem) and select properties->double click on the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) and select Use the DNS servers given by ISP. And enter the following information:
Preferred DNS: x.x.x.x
Alternate DNS: x.x.x.x
click on OK on the both windows and test the connection again.
