I have downloading speed problem with ADSL connection and Zoom ADSL modem, Web Surfing is ok, but torrents and all other download interfaces working very slow, even direct downloads are so slow, i called my ISP they checked my connection and said everything is ok.
Please go to Broadband Connection / DSL Connection and check the sync speed. If the sync speed and the speed showed by the speed test differ with more than 20%, that is probably an issue on the local network. Please connect to the modem using the Ethernet cable. 1) Please ensure that you have run adware and spyware programmes on your PC. Also run a complete virus check on your system to eliminate the possibility of an infection slowing things down. 2) We can try altering the system memory settings to resolve this problem. Please follow these steps to do the change and update on the connection speed
status. 1>Click Start, click Run, and then type sysdm.cpl in the Open box 2>Click the Advanced tab, and then click Settings under Performance 3>Click the Advanced tab, and then use one of the following methods under Memory usage 4>Select System cache and restart the computer for the changes to take affect. 3) Please connect to the Modem using the Ethernet cable. Please check your LAN card settings and adjust them for performance to throuput instead of CPU. Please carry out a new speed test by using this link: http://www.speedtest.net/ 4) Please go to the Network connections and mark the Local Area Connection, right click, Properties: In the General menu hit Configure (that will take you to the setup of your Lan card). Go to Advanced/ Speed&Duplex - the Value should be 100Mb Full. Please do the speed test again and update us. 5) Please go to Start/Run, type cmd Type ping www.stopsmoking-quitsmoking.info 6) Please go to Start/Run, type cmd Type tracert www.napravo.info 7) Please go to Start/Run, type cmd Type ping www.bilgisayarim.info . 8) Please go to Start/Run, type cmd Type tracert www.tur.travel and see the results, now your connection must be working much better.
