I am having Limited or No connectivity error, how can i fix it? i cannot reach my ADSL modem console




Please open your Windows Control Panel - "Network and Sharing Center" - click on the left list with options "Manage Network Connections"


Here you need to right click on your "Local Area Network Connection" or your "Wireless Network Connection" icon and to select "properties".

Then find "Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6)and remove the tick from it.

Also select "Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)" and click "properties" , the settings here must be with automatic options - "Obtain an IP address automatically" and "Obtain DNS server address automatically"

If all the settings are configured in that way your Windows Vista will show you that the connection status is "Connected"


If you are using Windows XP you just need to check the settings for Internet Protocol TCP/IP ,the settings here must be with automatic options - "Obtain an IP address automatically" and "Obtain DNS server address automatically"
Also you can configure the settings with IP addresses from the modem internal IP range from 192.168.1.10 to 192.168.1.60 , the subnet mask must be 255.255.255.0 and the Getaway must be 192.168.1.254
DNS Servers: the ones given by your ISP

Also please be sure that you are not using any Firewall solutions which can block the connection , or if you are using any Firewall software`s they must be configured to allow your broadband connection.
